My mum made me a Christmas cake. 

Christmas Giant Cupcake

Here is my Christmas giant cupcake creation. Not for anyone other than us :o)

Started off with a giant cupcake trimmed:


I put buttercream in the middle of the 2 layers and then covered the rest in buttercream:


I then surrounded the bottom with chocolate fingers and secured it with some ribbon, it needed a box and a half worth of chocolate fingers.


I then piped the buttercream using my Wilton 1M nozzle, used yellow smarties, some dr oetker soft pearls and a giant chocolate star to decorate :o)


This should satisfy my craving for cake :o)

Silver wedding Anniversary Cake

My latest cake creation for one of the nursery girls aunts. Its a lemon cake inside (used 15 egg mixture!), with lemon buttercream, covered in fondant with edible sugarpaste butterflies.

These were for my mother in law to be too. She is going to be taking these to work.

Malteser Cakes

First these are malteser cupcakes made in big cakes so they are more like muffin cakes. These were made for my mother in law's birthday tea party. 

2nd lot of malteser cupcakes made in normal cupcake cases for my mother in law to take to work with her for her work colleagues. She asked me to make them as she loves my cooking and she's bragged to her colleagues about them. lol.

Lemon butterfly cupcakes

1st ever batch of lemon butterfly cupcakes. They were delicious! 

Chocolate cupcakes and Chocolate Herman cake

A busy few baking days here.
Firstly I made some chocolate cupcakes with rich chocolate buttercream and giant cadbury's chocolate buttons on top.

This was me doing my good wifely duty and baking these for my fiance's lunchbox this week. 

My cakes always go down well with him.  

Then I made a chocolate herman cake. My office is going to be one happy office tomorrow I'm sure as most of this is going in tomorrow:

It tastes very much like chocolate brownie and is very nice!! 

Reeses Peanut Butter cup cupcakes

I forgot to blog about these. I made these the weekend before last for my boyfriend as it was his birthday and these are his favourite cakes.

I made this cake to have after my boyfriend and brother in law's birthday meal. 

Absolutely gorgeous cake even if i do say so myself.  

Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, cadbury's milk chocolate and dream chocolate fingers and topped with white chocolate stars.

"Rocky Mountain" Cupcakes

Well i thought i'd try a different cupcake recipe today with the help of my little boy who is 21 months old. He likes to help me in the kitchen, i can't say he is always a help though. lol
