Hot chocolate cones / Snowman Soup
I bought these cone bags last year but didn't get a chance to use them as I was too busy moving house. You can get them from Amazon and eBay.
I filled up the cones with approximately 65g of hot chocolate powder (enough for 2 cups plus a few extra grams), I then twisted the end, tied with a tie and then trimmed down the bag.
I then taped over the end just to doubly secure it.
I then placed it in another bag making sure to line up the seams of the bags on the sides.
I found it easier to place the bags into a pint glass making it much easier to fill them and easier to keep the layers separate.
I then added about 25g of chocolate chips
Then about 25-30g of mini marshmallows.
Twisted the bag, tied with a tie and finished off with a ribbon and a candy cane.
The ribbon I bought from The Works, it was only 99p for 5m of christmas ribbon (5 different patterns x 1m).
I just need to add the labels before they are ready to give away.

My 1st attempt at a pasta pie.

Fridge Cake
This is my take on the fridge cake from the BBC food website.
Here are my ingredients before:
I blitzed the digestives in my mini chopper, chopped the glacé cherries & maltesers in half.
Melt the chocolate & butter 1st
Add the golden syrup after you've melted the chocolate
Chuck them all in together and mix well.
I had an assistant to help me mix
It all comes together beautifully:
Put in a baking tray like this
Add toppings if required, I choose milky bar buttons but have used caramel buttons before too and they were delicious.
Set in fridge for a couple of hours & then chop up into pieces like this:
It tasted amazing :D

Hello oh so neglected blog!
Its been so long since I wrote a blog post and shared my makes. I am still here, I am still creating things, I just haven't had much time with 2 young children and moving house and everything.
I am hoping that now things are pretty much sorted that I have much more time to make things.
I'll try and do a catch up post with the few cards and bits that I have made since going a bit AWOL if anyone is still out there?!
Rach :)

A few wedding makes
I have very much neglected my blog recently, life has very much got in the way of crafting so I have been putting my family first.
Here is the table plan that I made for our wedding:
I got these gorgeous little ovals from Hobbycraft. I still have them tucked away too as I pulled them off when we disposed of the table plan after the wedding.
The mark on the ribbon happened afterwards as I forgot to take pictures before (oops! I did only finish it the day before the wedding though, lol).
I also made all the place cards for everyone.
They looked fab on the tables and matched the wedding invites.
I also named the tables after places in Harry Potter so each table had individual signs although I forgot to take pictures of all of these - epic fail! This was one of them though which was on the head table. Thankfully our wedding photographer got this picture and the one above of the place cards.
