My boyfriends birthday cards

Here are the 2 cards that I made him for his birthday:

Very very similar to the one I made for his brother but I stamped the elephant in black memento ink and cut off the grass at the bottom. I think I prefer it without the grass too.

Then this card I made from our son Christopher:

Not much explanation needed here really, I used my Slice to cut out some of his artwork and his photo and used some textured cardstock by Core'dinations, generic silver ribbon from my stash, silver brads by American Crafts, the silver daddy is from Hobbycraft, I bought in the one of their sales last year.

My brother in law's birthday card

He's a Blackpool fan so hopefully he'll really like this card.
The Blackpool image I printed off the internet. The stamp is an Onion and Pickles by DoCrafts. Paper is generic orange card stock and the stripy paper is K and Co from their giant 360 page stack.
I used my Slice to cut out the letters and to cut round the Blackpool club sign.

Another thank you card

This one using my free papers out of the latest edition of Quick Cards

The kite I cut out 4 using my Slice in 4 different colours and then put them together like this. I cut off the tail that was there and replaced it with the string.
I'm really pleased with how this turned out.

My brother's birthday card

Here is my brother's birthday card, I went for a war themed one as his favourite game at the moment is Battlefield.

The image I found online, brads and stamps are both american crafts, paper is a Making Memories Slice and the helicopter I cut out using my Slice (Big Kids design card)

These next 2 are using Papermania stamps, shape cut out using my Slice, paper is K & Co, button is from my stash.

Martha stewart punch, K & Co papers, same stamps and again Slice to cut out the other shapes.

Chocolate cupcakes, my best yet!

I made these as my brother had requested I bring cakes. In his words I make pretty good cakes. I decided to try a new chocolate cake recipe as I still hadn't found one chocolatey enough for my liking. I searched online and found this one: http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/499762/libbie-s-chocolate-cupcakes#ingredients Here are the results:

Chocolate icing with mini fuge pieces, then I tried a couple with red edible glitter

They went down a treat and taste amazing! Will definitely use this recipe again!!
