These went down a storm! I took these 16 to nursery:







Within 15 or so minutes of being on the stall they were gone! Other cakes on the stall were left untouched. Lol!

Last nights baking

Well it's my son's nurseries summer fete today so I'd offered to make them some cakes for the cake stall.
This was my side whilst making them:


I made 29 cupcakes, here are them freshly cooling from the oven:


The tiny one at the back on the left I'm going to give to my toddler to have as a treat.
I decided as it was so late (11:30pm) that I'd ice them today so had to store them overnight although I had too many for my cake storing tub! Lol


The final and most boring thing I had to do last night was the dishes. Booo! It's definitely one of the downsides to baking!


Now I just need to ice them. Will post another pic once they're all iced and ready to go :o)

A look back at the start of my card making adventures.

I have been thinking about when i first started card making and was wondering what was the 1st card i ever made. I think it was this one for my sister:

Phew! Thats all of them for now, i do however have a voucher for Hobbycraft that i got for my birthday so i may be purchasing some more in the very near future. 

It's about time

I'm Rachel, I have a gorgeous 20 month old son called Christopher. He is the light of my life and the best thing I have ever created. Here is a picture of us together


Well i thought it was about time I created a craft related blog. Papercraft and baking are my hobbies so I thought I'd share my adventures and creations with you all here.
